Challenges

Bytestock's original branding and website faced several issues:

Outdated Design:

The logo, while clever, used outdated gradients and overly bright colors, giving a dated and less sustainable impression.

Unfriendly Website:

The website was not user-friendly, with redundant information and a confusing navigation system

Approach

To tackle these challenges, I conducted meetings with stakeholders and the e-commerce team to understand their concerns and goals. We created three personas representing typical users to guide our design decisions and studied what our top 3 competitors were doing on their sites.

elements

Logo:

Retained the existing logo but updated the color palette to softer, more sustainable tones.

Typography:

Introduced the "Inter" typeface, offering a firm and bold yet approachable look.

Icons and Imagery:

Replaced isometric illustrations with minimalist icons and real-life images of products to provide clarity and a touch of realism. (Rich Text Block)

Website experience

Brand Site:

Focused on presenting Bytestock's identity and unique selling propositions (USPs), with links to the shop.

E-commerce Site:

Dedicated to product listings, featuring sections like best-sellers, special offers, and new products to improve user engagement and navigation.

The new Bytestock branding and website, launching in a few weeks, have received positive feedback from internal stakeholders, who anticipate improved user engagement and a stronger market presence. The updates aim to create a modern, user-friendly experience that aligns with the company's vision of sustainability and reliability. Stay tuned for the full impact post-launch.
